وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا {And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.} Beloved ones, our life can be divided into night and day. Each one following the other. يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ {He covers the night with the day, chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds.} Let us reflect on our nights in this post. How can we make our nights better? How can we prepare for the night of Qadr in Ramadan? Lets start preparing now by changing our night habits. We will post more tomorrow inshaAllah. One advice is avoiding all screens - mobile, tv, computer - at night, except out of need, or minimizing screen time, and going to bed early. May Allah guide us to the wayus of His pleasure. Ameen!

In the name of Allah, the All Merciful, the Ever Merciful We learn wisdom from experiences and analogies (examples), as Allah wills. وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُ فِي الْأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْعِظَةً وَتَفْصِيلًا لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ {And We wrote for him (Moses) on the Tablets of everything an admonition, and an expounding of everything} Yet despite knowledge of revelation, Moses, peace be upon him still set out on a journey seeking to learn from another of Allah's slave. The lessons from this are profound. وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِفَتَاهُ لَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّىٰ أَبْلُغَ مَجْمَعَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ أَوْ أَمْضِيَ حُقُبًا {And as Musa said to his page, "I will not leave off until I reach the junction of the two seas, or I will pass epochs away."} People, try to learn wisdom from your experiences, by reflecting on nature and life and drawing analogies/examples/similitudes. There is countless wisdom we don't understand and know, countless lessons to take and learn. Travel through the earth and walk along its paths, reflecting and learning. He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding. |
